Pert Plus --> Dummy! "It Ain't Me" = CCR & Vietnam "Nobody with a plan ever joined the infantry" = a quote I'm gonna steal Interesting that the "village" included reporter & camera man. It brought Tim Hetherington & Chris Hondros to mind, may they rest in peace.
Nice work Ryan. Looking forward to more, more, more :) ~P~
Hey Suspect, I'm not sure what your current plans are or if you're even considering giving school another try, but I just saw this in the weekly news bulletin at my school, the University of Arizona.

There are supposed to be a lot of vets here and I've heard that the school does a lot for them, to somewhat smooth the way and provide support. I don't know firsthand, but I do know that I see a lot of army backpacks around campus. I just thought I'd pass this on, maybe something to think about? Who knows, it might help things work out better this time around...
We told the man we wanted money for college, to serve our country, or to travel and see the world; he said for us to sign on the dotted line. We gave what we owed, and they took more than we bargained for.
This is the account of one veteran, or many, finally taking back. This is where we discuss the issues we face in returning from war, and transitioning into the classroom. We've DX'd our rucksacks for backpacks, our boots for flip flops, and have sworn off haircuts, shaving, and whatever else we're tired of. We gave what we did, to be where we are now, and these are our stories.
