On the way to yet another anti-capitalist/anti-war/anti-fee hike rally at school today, I ran into this little sign hanging on the bridge on Ring Road.
I laughed and walked a few steps away.
But I had to share this little sign, so I went back. Not sure what to make of it. Anyone have any insights?

If this is the case, I suppose you could evoke the troops in any situation. The troops fought for our right to get drunk, fought for our right to bone fat chicks, etc.
As it is, they fought also for my next set of pictures... but you're right, N.
First of all, they're college kids. Having said that -
The composition struck me. Nice bright color, good. Top line "US Troops Fought" - got your attention didn't it? Probably all the other vets passing by too -- the average kid, probably not. Print on subsequent lines get smaller. "College Republicans" looks like it was done in pencil, but the meeting time and place are visible.
I see it as a somewhat sophomoric attempt to recruit vets to their cause.
This from someone who as a college kid was among the demonstrators!
For what its worth.......
