Little while ago, I wrote this piece of shit. Now I'm writing a new one.
I just don't get it. At all. Could this possibly be a shiny, fucking example of human incompetence, or is someone merely toying with me like I'm this lil kitty cat chasing a ball of yarn?
Pay attention to the dates. Pay attention to the white out lines. Just fucking pay attention and fix my shit. And stop being so fail while you're at it.

Well, Jason, you're learning that incompetence is everywhere and that you are your own best -and sometimes only- advocate.
Looks like you were prepared with copies of your records -- see, the Army taught you more than how to fill out forms and fire a gun. You've learned to document.
Find yourself a file cabinet and start keeping copies of everything, including the children's records. Next time, and there WILL be a next time, you'll be prepared and, hopefully, aware that its really not about you.

Thanks, P. I have a pretty thick stack of documents from everything I've gone through. There's a huge backlog of OIF I/Invasion on my other site if you go back to my earliest posts...
As for Yon--I casually follow, but not actively. I'm a bit jealous--I want to do what he's doing. I think that I could, also. For the moment, I just need to concentrate on finising up my last 2-3 years before I think about career.

I can take classes, and they don't start until the last week of the month. The certification is a big deal, but I recently found that it isn't as huge a deal short term as I thought. I thought it would affect my admittance; in fact, it only affects my overall degree pattern. The worst that can happen is that I have to take an extra Math class (fuck), and 2-3 more lower division, non-major English and Lit classes (which is enough to extend me an extra year).
Lady needs to be demoted, fired, and bitch-slapped (by another woman so it's okay).
I started Catch-22 this summer, and got close to halfway with it. Probably the wittiest book I have ever read. Between the baby, and obsessing over photo stuff, my readings have taken a backseat.
Jason, you've got a lot on your plate and probably always will... going to need to not spend your precious energy getting too spun out. You need just enough anger to keep you focused; and no more. You're going to run into crap like this at least once a week for the rest of your life. At least, that's how it goes for me! Take it easy! z
